Christmas 2003
Greetings

We enjoyed Christmas this year at our home in Naples on Dec. 27th. with all the kids being present. Two of the kids now live in the same development that we live in. All of them wish they could live in Naples, but sometimes fate places you somewhere else.
Real Estate seems to run in the family. Ty, LaDonna, Niki and Shelly all have real estate licenses. Shelly's license has been inactive for a number of years, but she still takes the courses to keep up with things. Ty & LaDonna got married in September at a quaint Bed & Breakfast in the Sonoma Valley in California. We all went out for the wedding and had a great time. Of course, Karen insisted that we go to Las Vegas after the wedding for 10 days to recuperate, which we did.
Ty
and his wife LaDonna now live in the same neighborhood that we live in. Ty
and LaDonna have a small Real Estate company that markets condos in Bonita
Springs. It's great having them in Naples now.
Shelly
still lives in Orlando. She just bought a new home on a lake and is still
thrilled with her job. (She is a pharmaceutical rep) We go up there or she
comes down her about every other month. Max and Emily are growing up....
you can see a big difference from 2 years old to 4 years.
Niki
also lives in our neighborhood. Niki now has her Real Estate license and
she works with Karen, who is the top Realtor in the Vineyards. Niki loves
it and they both work well together. Anela and Eve are another set of 2
and 4 year olds that are growing up.
Doug
is getting married in March to Andrea. The wedding will be on the beach in
Clearwater. Doug still lives in Tampa which is only 2½ hours from Naples.
He will have his Master's in Art by the end of March. As a student
teacher, he taught several classes at the college over the last couple years and
he would love to land a job teaching art at a college somewhere.
I
shot this on Dec. 28th so you could see how nice the weather is here. The
beach was really crowded with people that came down for the holidays.
Sometime this week Ty and a few of us will go out boating and fishing. If
you run out of rock salt up north, contact me and I'll send sand.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
